During portrait sessions you can expect a lot of direction and guidance from me. So don't worry at all if you're not a professional model and you're not sure what to do, that's what I'm here for!
I'll guide you with thoughtful poses as well as fun prompts to capture the candid, in-between moments that reflect your personality. It's a plus if you have a Pinterest board to share! I want to know the vibes we're aiming for so we can recreate it in your own style.
My goal as an San Antonio Engagement Photographer is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself, because that’s when the magic really happens!

I keep things simple with one portrait collection because I've found it's the best way to give every client the experience they deserve.
I've learned that the magic almost always happens after everyone has had a chance to settle in, get comfortable, and forget there's a camera around. Because of that, I don't offer 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions. I never want us watching the clock or rushing through your session just to fit into a shorter time slot.
Whether we use the full 90 minutes or wrap up a little sooner, your experience (and your investment) stays the same. You'll have plenty of time to relax, explore different spots, change outfits if you'd like, and create photos that actually feel like you. No pressure, no racing the clock—just a fun, laid-back session together.

Step 1: You found my website, check! Take a look around and get familiar with my style. If it feels like a good fit, let’s move forward!
Step 2: Fill out my inquiry form and tell me all the details! Your ideas, inspo, theme, or anything you’re dreaming up. I can’t wait to hear about it.
Step 3: We’ll pick a date and time that works best for both of us (with the BEST lighting, of course). If the weather doesn’t cooperate, no worries, we can always reschedule.
Step 4: Leading up to your session, you’re welcome to message me anytime with questions! Need outfit advice? Found inspo on Instagram? Send it my way! I’m here to help.
Step 5: Session day! We’ll meet, have a ton of fun for an hour or two, capture some magic, and wrap up with any final requests.
Step 6: A few sneak peeks are sent within 2–3 days so you can get excited and share feedback.
Step 7: Your full gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks (no later than 30 days after your session).
Step 8: Download your photos, order prints, update that profile pic, and decorate your home!
The Process
I totally get it. Booking a wedding photographer is a big investment, and if you're anything like me, spending thousands of dollars before knowing if it's the right fit can feel a little intimidating.
Book an engagement session first and, if you decide you'd love to have me photograph your wedding too, every dollar you paid toward your engagement session (excluding sales tax) will be applied to your wedding collection.
Think of it as a low-risk way to make sure we're the perfect fit before making a bigger commitment. You'll get to experience what it's actually like working together, from posing and prompts to how I communicate, guide you, and deliver your gallery, so you can book your wedding photographer with confidence instead of crossing your fingers.
And if you do decide to book a wedding collection afterward, this offer simply replaces the complimentary engagement session that's included in eligible collections... because let's be honest, one engagement session is usually plenty. 🤍
My booking retainer is 50% due at booking along with a signed portrait photography agreement. The final payment will be due the day of your session!
